Ukrainian Forces Launches Large-Scale Manufacturing of Novel Defensive Drones

Ukraine has announced the commencement of mass production for a new locally engineered defensive UAV to reinforce its aerial protection systems. The first three manufacturers have begun manufacturing, with 11 more getting ready to set up production lines, the defence ministry announced this past Friday.

Advanced 'Octopus' System Proven in Battlefield Situations

The drones utilize a nationally created system known as “Octopus” engineered to intercept Shahed drones. Ukraine’s general staff said its military had launched Neptune cruise missiles and used various types of strike drones in the attack on Novorossiysk “as part of operations to reduce the strategic capabilities of the invading force.”
