The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Has Died in a California Vehicle Accident

The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company which he helped establish.

The celebrated game designer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to his family and friends, those closest to him, and the countless individuals inspired by his work," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
