President Trump Welcomes Relatives of Injured Military Personnel to the Presidential Residence

Former President Donald Trump stated on the weekend that he has invited the family of a Guard member fatally shot last week to visit the White House.

He mentioned that he conversed with her family and they were “heartbroken”.

Her fellow service member, Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in critical condition.

Mourners gathered over the past few days at Webster County high school in West Virginia to pay respects to Sarah.

“Sarah was the individual that educators desired. She conducted herself with calm resilience, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that inspired those around her,” the principal, the leader of her alma mater, told the press. “She was caring, caring and always eager to support those in need.”

Funeral arrangements for Sarah are in the process of planning.

Officials have charged a 29-year-old Afghan national with one count of homicide and charges of violent assault while armed.

The event caused the Trump administration to halt refugee claims and temporarily stop granting entry permits to owners of travel documents.

Wolfe, a native of Martinsburg, started his military career in February 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman high school, according to the news agency.

He continues to receive treatment and is “battling to survive”, West Virginia leader Patrick Morrisey stated on a news program.

Memory of Sarah Beckstrom

Beckstrom, from her hometown, completed her education from her high school in June 2023 and enlisted soon after, working as a military police officer with excellence, according to the West Virginia National Guard.

“She had a lot of goodness and she certainly had fortitude,” he informed the crowd at the vigil. “Though her time ended too soon, she has created a legacy that’s going to endure.”
