National Guard Deployed Before Countrywide Anti-Monarchy Protests

Republican governors in several US states have positioned National Guard units on alert preparing for widespread protests opposing Donald Trump and his policies.

Planners of the "No Kings" initiative stated that events are arranged at exceeding 2,500 locations throughout the United States.

As per demonstration leaders, the last No Kings protest in June brought out exceeding five million participants denouncing Trump's political approach.

Local Responses

State leaders in the Lone Star State and Virginia have officially deployed their state's National Guard forces, though the level of defense presence remains unclear.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott referenced the "scheduled radical rally" as justification for calling up state military personnel.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin correspondingly directed deployment of the state's National Guard units.

Political Responses

Protest leaders described the gatherings as challenge to Trump's "authoritarianism."

"The administration considers his rule is total," they state on their digital presence.

"However in the United States, we reject monarchs and we refuse to yield against turmoil, dishonesty, and brutality."

Several conservatives have dubbed the demonstrations as "Anti-American" assemblies.

Kansas Senator Roger Marshall according to sources commented before the demonstrations: "It's necessary to deploy the National Guard."

"With luck it'll be non-violent. I'm skeptical," he added.

Democratic Response

Liberal representatives criticized the mobilization of military forces.

Texas Democrat Gene Wu contended: "Dispatching equipped troops to suppress peaceful demonstrations is precisely what monarchs and dictators do — and Greg Abbott just shown he's one of them."
