Week 10 again delivered, with a major surprise for the Bills demonstrating the 'any given Sunday' saying that draws so many people into the National Football League

This outcome could have created opportunities for the New England Patriots to creep back into a top spot they formerly held, with a schedule that gives them an advantage over their eight and two competitors

Meanwhile in the NFC the Seattle Seahawks and Rams had perfect results to set up a major confrontation in week 11, while our top performer is pursuing milestones as well as the Most Valuable Player award

Analysis - Just a Bad Day for the Bills?

Josh Allen in action
Was Josh Allen try too much or could it simply have been a bad day for Buffalo?

Could it simply have been an emotional comedown from defeating Kansas City last week or something more? This remains the question for the Buffalo team to answer

The Buffalo squad had secured seven victories in a row against the Dolphins but were outperformed from the beginning as the Dolphins emerged as 30-13 winners in an eye-opening result - and display

MVP quarterback Josh Allen only achieved the squad's initial first down in the third period and first points in the final quarter - yes the Dolphins had ten days to get ready but it was still a massive egg laid by one of the league's best offenses

Tua Tagovailoa threw two scores but running back De'Von Achane was the game-changing factor, with 225 combined yards and two scores

Bottling up the league's best rushing attack was also key, with Cook and teammates registering just eighty-six yards, their lowest of the season and slightly more than fifty percent their 161.5-yard average

Additionally there were the three critical ball losses, and the pair from Josh Allen in particular. An pass caught by defense in the end zone meaning a nine-minute possession yielded no points, and his fourth-quarter dropped ball that the Dolphins turned into a touchdown just two plays

It was classic 'old Buffalo' as they shot themselves in the foot, falling into a hole on defensive side and Allen trying to do too much to rescue his squad from the situation - not the composed, controlled, balanced Buffalo team we've witnessed this year

Miami have demonstrated a varied performances this season so the jury's out on whether this is the start of a trend, but for the Bills they'll need an immediate bounce-back in a difficult matchup against Tampa Bay in week 11 as the New England are sneaking into a nice lead at the top of the American Football Conference East

Spotlight - Patriots Identify Route to Unexpected First Place

Regarding the Patriots, they're among three different eight and two squads in the league, all AFC sides, but could they be the top team?

You can find flaws in New England, Denver and the Colts really for dominating the weaker opponents, with only five of their combined twenty-four wins coming against teams with a winning record - and one of those was the Colts defeating the Denver

The Broncos defeated the champion Eagles in Philadelphia and are masters of the fourth-quarter while Indy can ride Jonathan Taylor, but the New England adding Sunday's win in Tampa Bay to their prime time success in Orchard Park appears to be a statement

Their two defeats came in new head coach Mike Vrabel's initial three games, with seven consecutive wins, just like Denver, since then - but defeating Baker Mayfield after the Bucs had a week off to get ready was significant

Maye's Most Valuable Player credentials won't go away, and he certainly deserves credit for bravery after absorbing some hard tackles in Tampa but hanging in there to guide his side to victory

The defense is solid and rookie running back Henderson exploded on game day with 147 yards and two exciting touchdowns of 55 and 69 yards - establishing himself as just the fifth ball carrier to exceed 22 miles per hour this season on his initial touchdown

Although you can argue who 'the top team' is technically, the Patriots should be favorites to finish with the best record due to their remaining opponents - which includes just one game against a successful opponent, albeit a significant contest against Buffalo

Traveling to the Ravens is challenging too, but Denver have it more difficult in the AFC West with the Chiefs to play twice, the Chargers (who could also compete for top seed but face the same problem) and also the Green Bay on the schedule

The Colts also play the Chiefs, and have the Seattle, 49ers and two matchups with the 5-4 Jacksonville to face. There's a long way to go but the opportunity is open for a shock top seed in the American Football Conference

Next Week - Rams & Seahawks Prepare for Week 11 Clash

Both squads with solid claims to be superior to all of the three different eight and two sides are NFC West rivals the Seahawks and Rams, who both scored forty points to go to 7-2 ahead of next week's Hollywood blockbuster meeting between the two in LA

They've both won four in a consecutive games, have signal callers in Stafford and Sam Darnold playing at an high standard (although Sam Darnold had ball security problems on game day) with excellent pass catchers, and defensive units giving up under 20 points a contest

Both could easily be undefeated as well - particularly the Rams as their pair of losses occurred in extra time against the San Francisco and then that painful defeat in Philly when they had a game-winning field goal with the final play blocked and run back by the Eagles for a touchdown

The Seahawks were also defeated to San Francisco, with a late touchdown in the opening week, before losing to the final play of the game against the Buccaneers - so they are truly among the best sides in the NFL

The upcoming game on Sunday could be the most exciting of the year so far

Top Performer - Taylor
